Rishi Kapoor’s biography, Khullam Khulla: Rishi Kapoor Uncensored, will be released on 15 Jan 2017. Rishi Kapoor himself has written this ‘uncensored’ biographical book along with Meena Iyer and the title is published under Harper Collins.
‘Khullam Khulla’ is a Hindi phrase that means’ candid ‘and ‘frank’, which goes completely in line with the persona of Rishi Kapoor.Kapoor says that he has done whole justice in his autobiography as it has managed to cover all areas of his life.
Khullam Khulla ,the interesting title has been borrowed from one of his famous songs — “Khullam Khulla Pyar Karenge Hum Dono”.
The 64-year-old tweeted: “My autobiography – Rishi Kapoor-uncensored! ‘Khullam Khulla’ releases 15th January. This one’s from the heart, my life and times, as I lived it.”
