The Italian motorcycle maker, Ducati is looking forward to launching not one or two but a slew of new motorcycles in India. The brand has also showcased many of them overseas and now the new models are making their way to the Indian market very soon. The new motorcycles include the most affordable Monster, the Monster 797, the Multistrada 950, Scrambler Desert Sled and Café Racer and the all new SuperSport which was showcased last year at the World Ducati Week.
The motorcycles from the Italian marque have been completely out of reach for a broader set of India audience primarily because of being such a nice brand. But now the company have tried bringing a more affordable level by not only introducing the Monster 797 but also the Multistrada 950 which will appeal to a larger set off an audience than the entire Multistrada 1200 or Monster series which is currently on offer.
Talking about the pricing, the new Monster 797 is priced at Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi),The two new Scramblers are priced at Rs 9.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for Desert Sled and the Café Racer retails at the same Rs 9.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Probably one the most anticipated bikes in the list– the Multistrada 950 – will be priced at Rs 11.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The new Multistrada 950 will lock horns with the Triumph Tiger XR and the Tiger XRx.While the sports tourer, Ducati SuperSport will retail at 11.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and it’s slightly premium version SuperSport S will be priced at Rs 13 lakh.
