Delhi’s sacked Water Minister Kapil Mishra today claimed that he has seen Health Minister Satyendra Jain handing Rs. 2 crore in cash to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
“Where did the money come from? They should tell what was done with the money?” he said in the promised tell-all media conference.
The minister had earlier tweeted that he has witnessed “him” taking illegal cash, without identifying the person. He added that he told Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal “everything” in their meeting.
Minutes before Mr. Mishra’s tell-all press conference, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal went into a huddle with his deputy Manish Sisodia and other leaders. Kumar Vishwas, with whom Kapil Mishra is very close to, is also attending the meeting.
Mishra, who was removed from his post on Saturday, has claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched against him due to the alleged Rs 400-crore water tanker scandal.
He is currently praying at Raj Ghat, where he promised to expose “him”. The party, meanwhile, has called a separate press conference.
