Air India set to launch bigger Boeing 777 aircraft between Delhi and Chennai sector to clear summer rush.
Air India will operate 300-seater Boeing 777 flights from today and continue till summer vacation ends. Indian airports witness rush during the holiday months. Hence, air lines are launching bigger aircraft to carry more number of passengers per flight.
Speaking on the launch of Boeing 777 flights between Delhi and Chennai sector,a senior Air India official confirmed the crucial development, adding that it would help them to operate in a better way during the rush period.
“From today, our evening flight between Delhi and Chennai would be operated by a 300-seater Boeing 777. The flight will leave for Chennai in the evening and return to Delhi late in the night. We hope to fill our planes due to the summer travel rush that starts now,” he added.
