Former Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra was fired from the post on Saturday. Mishra (36) was one of the active faces of AAP government from the day he came into the ruling.
From the beginning of ‘India Against Corruption’ (IAC) movement, his journey was an astonishing one, he was ranked as one of the most promising young politicians of AAP in a short time. He had won by over 40,000 votes representing Karawal Nagar constituency in 2015 Delhi Assembly election.
On his administration as the minister, Mishra had repeatedly rated with the issue allegations of Rs 400 Crore water tanker scandal. He claimed later even a few people in the AAP government were involved along with Congress Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
Later Delhi Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung had reported a FIR against both Dikshit and Kapil Mishra. Also, Mishra’s accusation against PM Narendra Modi as ISI agent on several occasions also made the mark.
The silent fissures between AAP and Mishra began right after the poll defeat party faced recently, Mishra got the side of Kumar Vishwas distanced with Kejriwal setting allegation of EVM manipulation in the elections.
