Finally Naushad’s wife gets the promised government job

Naushad the auto driver who lost his life while trying to save migrant labourers stuck in th manhole, was hailed as hero by many.

Safreena, wife of Naushad was promised with due compensation and a government job by the then Kerala CM Oomen Chandy.

After much delay Naushad’s wife Safreena finally gets the government job .She has been appointed in the sorting section of the Collectorate.

Safreena, 24, a commerce graduate got married to Naushad 4 years ago. Naushad purchased auto rickshaw when they were faced with financial crisis.

While a total compensation of Rs 10 lakh was released to Naushad’s wife and mother a month after his death, the job assured to the family has been forgotten.

Hamsakkoya, Safreena’s father has approached ministers under the previous UDF government several times to follow up on the government job offer to his daughter, but was only met with assurances.

The tragic incident occurred in Kozhikode during early hours of November 25, 2015.
