The Petrol & diesel pump dealers called for a strike across the state on Sunday. If the government won’t increase dealer’s commission, a strong protest will be launched under the Consortium of Indian Petroleum Dealers (CIPD). This will affect South India and Maharashtra the most as these are the key areas wherein they operate.
About 1500 petrol pumps under the all Kerala federation of petroleum dealers will take part in the 24 hours strike. Apart from Kerala, other nine states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka will also remain closed
