Arjun Sarja is one of the finest actors in Tamil cinema. Be it the vigilante thriller Gentleman or Jai Hind, Arjun ruled the roost in the ’90s. He also teamed up with Kamal Haasan for the cop thriller Kuruthipunal, which became India’s official entry for Academy Awards that year.
Even after all these years. Arjun will be more remembered for playing the titular role in Shankar’s political drama Mudhalvan, which was an out-and-out money spinner at the box office.
In Tamil, Arjun’s last best performance remains to be in Ajith Kumar’s Mankatha, in which, he played an antagonist. In a career spanning more than two decades, Arjun has acted in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. Now, the actor is back with Nibunan, which marks Arjun’s 150th film.
Interestingly, superstar Rajinikanth was the first one to watch the Nibunan’s teaser and wished the team.
Going by the teaser, Arjun plays a stylish policer officer who is in search of a psychopathic serial killer. The highlight of the film is obviously the action scenes.
Directed by Arun Vaidyanathan,director of malayalam hit movie “Peruchazhi”.
Nibunan also stars Sruti Hariharan, Prasanna and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in pivotal roles.
