Sacked Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra, along with his supporters today tried to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, however was stopped by the police.
Mishra’s purpose behind visiting Kejriwal was to ask the reason why he was not sacking Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
Mishra reached Kejriwal’s residence at 10.15 am with a group of supporters led by a group of band. The main road was blocked from the both sides and cops were deployed. They sang songs and bhajans near the barricade before seeking entry into the Janta Darbar.
“I am returning home today. But, I will come next time with a large number of supporters,” Mishra said.
Mishra had come with an intention to hand over a list of demands to Kejriwal, which included the demand of Kejriwal’s resignation.
Mishra was also accompanied by the mother of late AAP leader Santhosh Koli, who also demanded a CBI probe into the death of her daughter.
Koli, an AAP candidate from Seemapuri, had met with an accident in June 2013 and died. The party calls her a “martyr” who took on the ration mafia in Delhi.
