The secret behind Nokia’s ‘Coming soon’ ad with Nokia tune finally revealed with tons of surprises. The advertisement plays Nokia tune and mentions coming soon while finally ending with the NOKIA logo.
Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 smartphones are set to launch in India tomorrow. HMD Global, the company which owns the Nokia brand, had released an invite with the words, ‘save the date’ for an event scheduled on June 13.
HMD Global’s invite says: “Let’s join hands and welcome a new era of Nokia smartphones.” Since the invite has the word ‘smartphones’, one can expect that all the three Nokia devices will be unveiled tomorrow.
All three run pure stock Android 7 Nougat.
SPECIFICATIONS
Operating System: The Nokia 5 smartphone will run the Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. While the Nokia 6 and Nokia 3 devices will run the Android Nougat 7.0. Display: Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 16:9 ratio. It has a 2.5D sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass display on top, and 403 ppi with over 450 nits brightness. Nokia 5 has a 5.2-inch IPS HD display and has a Corning Gorilla Glass laminated on top of the screen. Nokia 3 has a smaller 5-inch display and a Corning Gorilla Glass laminated IPS LCD display with HD resolution (1280 x 720).
Processor: Nokia 6 runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. Nokia 5 is also powered by the Snapdragon 430 processor and Adreno 505 graphics. Meanwhile, Nokia 3 has the MediaTek 6737, which is quad-core processor clocked at 1.3Ghz. Storage: Nokia 6 comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. However, the limited edition Arte Black gets 4GB RAM+ 64 GB storage. The microSD slot support is up to 128GB. Nokia 5 comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage expandable to 128GB. Nokia 3 features 2GB RAM with 16GB storage, expandable up to 128GB.
Camera: Nokia 6 has a rear camera of 16MP with 1 um Pixel size and f/2 aperture, dual tone flash; the front camera is 8MP AF with 1.12 um pixel size and f/2 along with 84 degrees. Nokia 5 has a 13MP rear camera with 1.12um, f/2 aperture, dual tone flash, and there’s an 8MP front shooter with AF, 1.12um and f/2 aperture. Nokia 3, meanwhile, has an 8MP rear camera with 1.12um, f/2 aperture, LED flash, and an 8MP front camera with 1.12um, f/2 aperture and display flash.
Price: The Nokia 6 is priced at 229 euros (around Rs 16,100). Meanwhile, the Nokia 5 smartphone comes at a price of 189 euros (around Rs 13,400) and the Nokia 3 is available in the EU for a price of 139 euros (around Rs 10,000). There is a new black coloured variant of the Nokia 6, which the company recently launched. It was priced at 299 euros (around Rs. 21,200). However, Nokia has not revealed the pricing of the devices in India yet.
