BSNL subscribers are now getting shady messages from the service provider. The public telecom service provider seems like joined with its private counterpart to make easy money by attracting customers to sex calls.
Messages like “Hi..I am free now”, “Hi do you miss me” prompts the subscriber to call up an 11 digit number. This connects to BSNL centre and then to an unknown location. The call will be further continued with women greeting the subscriber.
The women are ready to talk about anything if subscriber deposit money into her account. You may get a ‘Kavya or ‘Teena’ but the account number can reveal her real name. The call is charged Rs 3 per minute. Customer will be unaware about the ‘VAT’ that burns his pocket.
90% of the revenue generated like this will go to the private contractor who organises phone sex services, BSNL retains 10%.
Even after several complaints from irritated customers, the central office still refuses to put an end to the service.
