M.K.R Pillai, the owner of Sreevalsam Group has detected with investments of Rs 425 crore recently in the Income Tax raid.
Mr Pillai has 12 accounts in Kohima alone. Other investments are registered in the name of his son and wife. He is in charge of all vehicles of the Nagaland police force. Mr Pillai refuses to respond to queries.
Income Tax raids twenty centres of Sreevalsam Group on a single day after the tip-off by CBI. The financial dealings mainly focused in four states in real estate, jewellery and textile trade.
Recently, only Rs 50 crores have been found from twenty bank accounts alone in Nagaland.
