Finally, the dream of an entire state became true. Kochi Metro will be on track for public service from Monday onwards. PM Narendra Modi had just unveiled and announced the inauguration of Kochi Metro to state.
But the show stopper was another incident.
When KMRL MD Elias George welcomed E Sreedharan, the whole stage filled the venue with ravishing and sounded applause. Mr Elias George had to pause the speech for minutes and waited for the crowd to settle with the claps. For minutes all that could be heard was the clap of thunder.
Yes, that’s what E Sreedharan is for whole Keralites. A series protest took place among public and social media when the news that E Sreedharan was stricken out from the guest list came out. In an earlier list, his name went missing among the name of guests who will be seated with PM on the inaugural stage released from PM’s office.
