Bollywood Actor Rishi Kapoor has been mercilessly trolled on Twitter over his post on the Women’s World Cup final, held at the Lords Stadium in London on Sunday.
On Twitter, Mr Kapoor wrote that he was waiting for a repeat of cricketer Sourav Ganguly’s shirtless celebration on the Lords balcony after India defeated England in 2002.
Along with his tweet, Mr Kapoor also shared a picture of Sourav Ganguly’s iconic act.
Folks were angry with Mr Kapoor’s post some of which suggested that he was probably drunk while writing it. Some users also reminded him that it was a Women’s World Cup for which an act reminiscent of what Sourav Ganguly did was not really possible.
The Women’s cricket team, although, lost the World Cup Final to England, but were appreciated on Twitter by several celebrities for their fantastic performance.
