Google India at its first App Excellence Summit in Bengaluru brought Indian app and game developers to share tips and tools to help developers to create best quality Android apps that are locally relevant.
It also announced Google Play Made for India initiative that will allow Indian developers apply for a change to have apps specifically optimized for the Indian market showcased on the Google Play Store in India in a special section. They can apply at g.co/play/madeforindia.
Google Play has several payment methods. It now supports pre-paid and post-paid carrier billings for Airtel, Idea Cellular and Vodafone. You can get Google Play gift cards from over 4000 retail stores and you can also get recharge codes starting Rs. 100 through e-wallets.
