Yoga guru-turned-entrepreneur Baba Ramdev said on Sunday that “China does not believe in peace”.
He went on to involve Dalai Lama in his statement, as he pointed out that the revered spiritual guru wouldn’t have been in India if China would have believed in peace. “Had they done that Dalai Lama wouldn’t have been here,” he said.
Indicating that India will not step back in view of the threats issue Beijing and the Chinese state-run media, he said that India will follow the “tit-for-tat” rule to get back at China.
“We talk in the language of Yoga but the one who doesn’t get it must be answered in the language of war,” he added.
The tri-junction border standoff between India and China to sort the Doklam conflict has been going on since last month, but Beijing has shown no signs of settling the issue diplomatically, despite many statements.
India, on the other hand, has openly requested the Chinese for a diplomatic solution to the border standoff. The US has also supported India in the total fiasco.
Yesterday, US said India is “behaving like a mature power” in the Doklam standoff in the Sikkim section and making China look like an adolescent throwing a temper tantrum, a top American defence expert has said.
India and China have been locked in a face-off in the Doklam area for the last 50 days after Indian troops stopped the Chinese People’s Liberation Army from building a road in the area.
