Telecom operator Aircel has announced has launched free browsing on the Aircel app in a bid to enhance customer experience.
The new feature allows customers to utilize the app for checking latest data outstanding, talk time offers, check data balance, avail a data loan, pay through main account balance and also raise service request, without incurring any cost or even having a data balance on the phone.
This unique feature is a step forward to cater to the customers who regularly browse the app to check data balance and recent Aircel product offerings.
Commenting on the launch of this feature, Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer, Aircel, said, “Aircel has always strived to incorporate unique elements in their products and offerings which offer a holistic customer experience. Through this initiative, we aim to reinvent the browsing pattern of our customers and boost engagement on the Aircel app.’
He said, ‘We feel that this will provide the customers the comfort and ease to browse various offers from the app and recharge their phones conveniently. We truly cherish the relationship with our customers, and this is our way to be a part of their Independence Day celebrations.”
The special offer will help customers’ freedom from worrying about their data balance while they are browsing the app. Customers can download the Aircel app from Android/iOS App stores.
Meanwhile, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has approved the proposed merger of RCom and Aircel’s wireless business.
The RCOM-Aircel combination will create a strong operator clearly ranked amongst India’s top 4 telcos by customer base and revenues, also ranking amongst the top 3 operators by revenues in 12 important circles.
