Nine coaches of Delhi-Azamgarh Kaifiyat Express, in late hours of Wednesday, at 2.40 AM, derailed near Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place after the train engine collided with a dumper, no casualties have been reported so far.
The Uttar Pradesh police, have issued helpline numbers of the officials in the district along with medical staff contact, on their Twitter handle. The incident is second of such in five days after Utkal Express was derailed in UP’s Muzaffarnagar district which claimed more than 100 lives.
