The latest threat for the U.S is from the Islamic State(ISIS) militant group’s youngest recruit – the son of a US soldier who has fought in Iraq.
The boy, who says he’s 10 years old, claims in the video that he is the son of a US soldier who has fought in Iraq. The authenticity of this video, which was released by ISIS on its web site and promoted by the terror group on its social media accounts, is unknown.
In the seven-minute video, the “American” boy is shown speaking in an American accent and calling himself Yousuf.
The youngster calls US President Donald Trump, a “puppet of the Jews,” and threatens the US. He says “the airstrikes against ISIS will move to the West” and promises Trump that “the battle will end in your lands” as “the war has just begun” against the US and its allies.
Yousuf claims to have arrived in an ISIS-controlled area of Iraq two years ago.
“My father’s an American soldier who fought the mujahideen (Holy fighters) in Iraq…I didn’t know much about Islam except the name. When me and mom came to the Islamic State two years ago, we started learning the correct Islamic creed.”
The boy claims he has become good friends with another child, seven-year-old Abdullah, from the northern Iraqi town of Sinjar, which ISIS captured in August 2014. The video shows Yousuf playing with Abdullah in a deserted playground and loading an assault rifle with footage of ISIS fighters preparing for battle.
