The Television Academy has announced the first group of presenters for this year’s awards. Priyanka Chopra joins Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Matt Bomer and others as presenter at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards.
Her performance on her show, Quantico – which is about to enter its third season – has fetched her two People’s Choice Awards.
This will be the second time Priyanka Chopra will be presenting an award at the Emmys, having done so last year in 2016. Her last appearance had sent Twitter into a tizzy with her beautiful red dress and her now famous twirl.
Other presenters include Mark Feuerstein , Jermaine Fowler, Chris Hardwick, Kaitlin Olson, Jeremy Piven, Craig Robinson, Gina Rodriguez, Anika Noni Rose and Gabrielle Union.
The Emmys will be telecast live on CBS in the US. The show, to be held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, will be hosted by Stephen Colbert. Transparent, Big Little Lies, The Handmaid’s Tale and This is Us are considered to be the front-runners in major categories.
