Suicide bomb attack : 50 Killed ,several wounded in Iraq

Fifty people have been killed in twin gun and car bomb attacks in southern Iraq, a health official and police sources said.

Another 87 people were wounded in the attacks near Nasiriyah, the capital of Dhiqar province, said a senior provincial health official.

The first attack struck close to a restaurant while shortly afterwards a car bomb targeted a security checkpoint in the same area, officials said.
