Kangana Ranaut is currently on a roll as she continues to make headlines for her controversial comments and her latest release Simran.
While actresses today dream to work with Khans’, Kangana was one of the few to say ‘no’ to work with the superstars.
Opening up on why she rejected Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’, Kangana said,”For Sultan, at the time, it was a great character for a girl to take up, but I did not see anything for myself. Coming from a double role space (after Tanu Weds Manu), and doing so much more in my earlier films, I thought why should I demote myself to something that is not offering me so much. That’s why I didn’t do it (Sultan).”
“Knowing today’s time, I am going to do something that stimulates my mind, because otherwise, I am just going to be sleepy walking through the film,” she added.
Rumours were doing the rounds that Kangana had rejected Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan. To this, the talented actress said,”No. I was never offered, I don’t even know what the script is.”
Meanwhile, Simran has opened to good reviews in the theatres with Kangana’s performance being lauded by one and all. In the film, Kangana played the role of a NRI Gujarati who is kleptomaniac . The movie has been helmed by Hansal Mehta and has been co-written by Apurva Asrani.
Apart from this, Kangana is busy shooting for Manikarnika.
