Around 12 people were killed today in a blast in Jhal Magsi district in the Pakistani province of Balochistan, a source said.
“Around 12 people, including a police officer, have been killed in the suicide blast,” Balochistan government spokesperson Anwarul Haq Kakar said.
Several people have been injured. As per one source, 25 people have been injured. Another source said that 8 are injured.
The death toll could rise. Hospital sources said that many were critically injured.
Scores of people were killed earlier this year in a terrorist attack on the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine. Security forces killed around 37 terrorists in retaliation.
