His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday announced a cabinet reshuffle.
In a tweet on his official account, the Dubai Ruler said the reshuffle will being in fresh blood to the cabinet, and this is in line with UAE’s preparation for its centennial plans.
Here are the major appointments:
> Oman bin Sultan, 27, is the minister for artificial intelligence
> Mariam Al Muhairi will be in charge of food security
> Sara Al Amiri, 30, will be responsible for advanced sciences
> Ahmed Belhoul will be minister of state of higher education and advanced skills affairs
> Nasser bin Thani Al Hamli has been appointed minister of human resources and Emiratization
> Noura Al Kaabi has been named the minister of culture
