With the celebrations of Kerala Piravi comes the one-long month march of the UDF leader Ramesh Chennithala. Chennithala’s Padayorukkam is counterattack against LDF’s Jana Jagratha Yathra which began on 21st of October ends on the 27th.
On November 1 UDF leader Chennithala will begin his march against the anti-people policies of LDF and BJP. The focus of the campaign is the solar case which the LDF has laid on the UDF doorstep. However the LDF too decided to hold an assembly to discuss Sivarajan Commission report on the solar scam. With the disclosure of the report, the confrontation between the LDF and UDF will increase.
The confrontation between the LDF and UDF will create a niche for the Congress’ apparent heir Rahul Gandhi to go against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
After the Assembly which will be conducted on November 9th, LDF will meet with Rahul Gandhi at the capital to discuss the Sivarajan Commission. The proposed alliance does not sit well with the Marxist Party, that the then viewed God-sent solar case for the LDF during the Polit Bureau decision against an alliance with the Congress.
