National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided the residence of Hizbul Mujahideen Chief Syed Salahuddin at Soibugh in Budgam district of Jammu and Kashmir.
On October 26th 2017, Mohammad Yusuf Shah aka Syed Salahuddin’s house was raided by the NIA around 7 a.m. The NIA found certain questionable documents from the terrorist’s home. The raid took place two days after the arrest of Salahuddin’s son Shahid Yusuf by the NIA in connection with 2011 terrorist funding case.
Albeit Syed Salahuddin was classified as a global terrorist on June 2017, he enjoys considerable freedom which in turn seems to be undeterred by US sanctions on the terror mastermind.
