The Supreme Court made a crucial verdict on Hadiya case. The Supreme Court ordered Hadiya to appear before the Court on November 27. The court suggests NIA, Hadiya’s father Ashokan and Hadiya to present before the court for the further hearing of the case. The hearing will take place in an open court.
The Court asked Kerala State Government to continue and ensure the protection of Hadiya. The apex court also pointed that no laws can bar a person from loving a criminal, also added that marriage is a personal affair and wish of the person. The SC pulls up against NIA by saying don’t curb individual choice. National Agency of Investigation claims that people with Hypnotic expertise have been employed to manipulate young women in a report to the Supreme Court NIA said.
Earlier, in a video released in August, Hadiya was heard pleading with activist Rahul Eashwar to help end her confinement. “Get me out of here. Hadiya has been living with her father after the Kerala High Court annulled her marriage to Shafin Jahan in May this year and ordered her to return to live with her parents in Kottayam.
