Shooting in Walmart Super Center at Thornton near Colorado in the USA. Two men were shot by Thornton Police. Police in Thornton, did not release any information of the victim and it was not clear if an assailant had been taken into custody. Thornton is a city of about 120,000 people roughly 16 km northeast of Denver. It includes several other retailers, including The Home Depot and also the location of a Cinebarre theater and McDonald’s.
According to witnesses in the supermarket said that continuous sound of gunshots is heard inside the mall. An hour after the incident the police officials reach the store. No more gunshots are heard after that. The supermarket is surrounded by police and fire crews.
A video posted on Twitter showed the Walmart, which is situated in a large complex of big-box stores and other retail outlets adjacent to U.S. Interstate 25, apparently empty except for police officers with guns drawn.
