In the wake of threatening over his statement on Hindu terrorism actor Kamal Haasan is still keeping his stand stronger. He regards the threats as awards for his outspoken comments on religious extremism.
Haasan said that he had used the word extremism, not terrorism, and he was against extremism in all religions including Islam. The only solution to radicalism is education he said on a chat show.
Two days back Kamal commented on extremist groups inside Hinduism which in turn creates a lot of issues including a kill threatening.
Irked by his comment Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha leader Ashok Sharma, who said the actor should be hanged or shot.
Haasan said the “ache din” promised by prime minister Narendra Modi has not been materialized yet.
He also added that he would form a political party but he was not bothered about winning or losing. “People should not lose, he said. He added that Kerala and Tamil Nadu were the most tolerant states in India.
The people should have a right to recall their representatives who did not rise to their expectations. He reiterated that demonetization and the Good and Services Act were good ideas implemented poorly.
