Dubai’s themed park ‘Dubai Garden Glow’ season 3 brings a unique experience where the real and the fantastical converge, where history fuses with innovation under a veneer of bright lights and ice.
The park educates the children about global warming and necessary steps to take to preserve the natural beauty.
Dubai Garden Glow brings together education and entertainment and created a unique experience for children and adults alike.
Using 100 million energy saving bulbs and yards of recycled luminous fabric the garden took about 100 days to create with the help of more than 500 artists. During the day, you can view the extensive and minute details on each artistic venture. By night, the entire place glows. Several themes are showcased in the section, ranging from underwater wonderland, journey down Happiness Street, to My Dubai art installations.
For those who plan to visit Dubai Garden Glow, here are some suggestions:
Dinosaur Park: Engage with your children in an intellectual banter about dinosaurs. Witness the birth of a baby dinosaur in the Dinosaur Lab and view replica of dinosaur’s skeletons in the Dinosaur Museum.
Ice Park: The newest attraction of this season and officially the largest ice sculpture park in the region. Around 150 skilled artists from all over the world toiled for days using over 5000 tons of ice to create a visionary sight of 25 sculptures. With the park-provided warm clothes, you can explore the -7 to-8 degrees global warming-themed structure.
Tickets to Dubai Garden Glow costs Dh60 per head. Children under three go free. Entry fee to the Ice Park is Dh40. For more details, visit http://www.dubaigardenglow.com/
