Tamil Superstar Kamal Haasan will not celebrate his birthday today. He decided to meet people affected by the current torrential rains. The actor, who turns 62 today will also visit a rain-affected area at Pallikaranai in Chennai.
Kamal’s spokesperson said that he is decided not to celebrate his birthday while people are living in distress due to rain. He will be visiting a medical camp, which is set up by Narpani Iyakkam, a Welfare Movement at Annapoorna Marriage Hall and rain-affected area at Naryanapuram, S Kolathur Road, Pallikaranai, next to Balaji Dental College.
Haasan, who has been hinting at his political purge, has also been criticized the K Palaniswami led AIADMK government over alleged corruption. He would be reaching out to people with his special message and plans for the future.
The actor has recently pledged to send about five lakh of his volunteers and supporters for the refurbishment of water bodies in the wake of the torrential downpour and resultant waterlogging in parts of the state including Chennai.
