Emirates plans to introduce a new exciting service for it’s passengers.
Emirates is reportedly working on a home check-in service where the airline picks up luggage from the passenger’s home.
The Emirates staff member would scan the person’s passport, the flight details are logged, then the luggage is tagged and the passenger is handed their boarding pass, according to media reports.
“While Emirates would not disclose detailsAt Emirates, we continually invest in innovative ways to improve the customer experience”, a spokesperson told.
Passengers will be able to avoid transporting their luggage to the airport and would only have to pick it up from the carousel at their destination.
It is not yet known whether the programme will be available to all customers or just certain cabins.
