The Greenfield Stadium hosted its first ever international match

After beating New Zealand by six runs and won the series in the match held at Greenfield Stadium, Karyavattom, the Indian Captain praised the crowd and ground.

Virat Kohli said that the bowler-friendly conditions made them “nervous” after losing the toss before prevailing against New Zealand in the decider T20 match.

I think we were really happy to get a game. This crowd deserved to watch some action, said Kohli.
