In Ranchi Muslim woman yoga teacher issued with a fatwa from her own community all because of she is a yoga teacher. She is facing a threat to her life also.
Rafia Naaz, a resident of Doranda locality in Ranchi, ekes out a living for her family by teaching Yoga. She is the eldest among her siblings. She is also doing her M.Com from a local college.
The Principal Secretary of the State Chief Minister Sanjay Kumar Raghubar Das noticed about the incident and asked for a report.
He also asked the local police to provide security to the girl.
As per his instructions, Ranchi Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kuldeep Dwivedi sent a police team to meet her, and now she has been provided two security guards including one male and one female.
She came into the limelight after she shared the stage with Yoga Guru Ramdev in the city some time back.
