Priyanka Chopra, the former Miss World turns out to be an Indian film star. Not only in India she is very famous in western movies too. All this fame has not come to her easily, with all her perverseness that every woman needs to deal in every sector.
Her mother, Madhu Chopra, who has stood like a rock next to her since she entered the film industry, she opened one such chapter from her life.
Priyanka was expelled from almost a dozen projects because she refused to do with the demands of a reputed director.
Priyanka’s mother Madhu commented on her daughter’s statement about there being “many Harvey Weinstein” in the industry. She stated two incidents from Priyanka’s life, one where the actress turned down a film because her mother was not allowed to stay with her during the narration.
Explaining the second one, Madhu revealed, “Another time, a designer told her that the director’s brief was to dress her in itsy-bitsy clothes. The director had said, ‘What is the point of having a Miss World in front of the camera if we cannot show her as her beautiful self?’ Priyanka refused to do the film.
It was being helmed by a reputed director and he got upset. Priyanka lost 10 films because she walked out of that project.
Yet Priyanka sailed to the top successful names of the world film industry.
