Incidents of IED blasts have increased in the last few months.
Two Assam Rifles soldiers were killed and six others injured in Manipur this morning after suspected terrorists attacked security forces.
A patrol of the para-military force was targeted with a powerful IED explosion near its camp in Chandel district, close to the Myanmar border.
The injured soldiers have been taken to a hospital.
