Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar again came up with praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and shared his strong belief in the victory in upcoming Gujarat Assembly polls.
The JD(U) leader is praising Modi for the second occasion in the last three months. Bihar Chief Minister also said that the people of that state were likely to be swayed by the sentiment that “they have their own prime minister, I do not think there is any danger to the BJP in the Gujarat polls, he added.
Kumar, however, side-stepped a query on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi showing a lot of aggression during his poll campaign in Gujarat. He said that the acts of Rahul Gandhi seem to him like pointless.
The JD(U) has decided to contest the Gujarat Assembly polls on its own in a handful of seats. Kumar, who is the national president of the JD(U), now sharing power in Bihar with the BJP.
