After sex CD allegation of Patidar Leader Hardik Patel, another aftershock wave hits election campaigns in Gujarat. Former PAAS leader Chirag Patel, who was a part of Hardik Patel-led quota agitation have joined the BJP.
Chirag Patel joined BJP in the presence of Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.
After joining the BJP, some Patidar leaders alleged that Hardik Patel had become a “Congress agent” and was trying to use the agitation to overthrow the present State government.
Earlier past month, Patidar party members like Varun Patel and Reshma Patel had also joined the BJP. With the movement of Chirag, Hardik Patel is brainstorming to make new moves to succeed the upcoming election.
The Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 will be held in two phases on December 9 and 14. The counting of votes will take place on December 18.
