A 22-year-old medical student Ooshmal Ullas commit suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of the college building yesterday evening. An MBBS student of KMCT Medical College Kozhikode takes the extreme step after posting some vital clues in social media.
The day before the incident, Ooshmal had posted a screenshot of a few comments that came on a college confession page, `KMCT Xposed–MBBS Confessions.’ The comments posted were indirectly referring her early posts on Facebook.
According to her college mates, she received a phone call just before the incident and she was furious over the call before leaving the classroom in a huff.
KMCT Xpose, a confession page started just a month ago and similar posts of cyberbullying was a routine in the page. It has evolved itself as an area for anonymous cyberbullying with disturbing and indiscretion in comments and posts.
