An over speeding car met with an accident in the City on Thursday night, killing one person. In the accident that took place in front of Rajbhavan at Kawdiar, four other persons were injured.
The dead has been identified as Adarsh, a Thiruvananthapuram native. His condition was very critical when he was admitted to hospital.
There were three women and one man in the car and they are suspected to have gone for racing in the car. An auto driver was also injured in the accident.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby private hospital.
The over speeding car hit several vehicles including an auto and then rammed a nearby electric post, according to witnesses. The locals and police had to broke open the car to take out the victims.
