The Rajasthan Government led by Vasundhara Raje has asked students to visit a ‘Spiritual Fair’, endorsing Love Jihad, happened in Jaipur. The organizers of the fair have contacted the government and private schools to send students to the fair.
One of the pamphlets being distributed among students in the fair are spewing venom against Muslims, accusing them of converting Hindu girls to Islam. The pamphlet also says that people like Saif Ali Khan, Aamir Khan are wooing Hindu women and Kareena Kapoor is a victim of Love Jihad.
The pamphlet also enlists the places where Love Jihad happens ‘Beauty parlors recharge shops, ladies tailor shops etc. The pamphlet titled ‘Love Jihad’ warns Hindu girls against Muslim men. It says that Muslim men are out on a mission to convert girls and also lists out way in which they lure girls.
Around 2 lakhs students from different schools attended the fair. Meanwhile, the state education department has said that they haven’t passed any written order but have verbally requested schools to send students.
One particular magazine is also on display in the fair on a stall put up by ‘Bajrang Dal’, which is a guidebook on ‘Love Jihad’ and lays down guidelines on how to save girls from being a victim of it. This magazine also says that Kareena Kapoor is a victim of love jihad.
