Recently there has been a shootout between the Delhi police and a gang of criminal. Here are the details of the report.
A gang of criminals opened fire at a joint team of Punjab and Delhi police when they had gone for a raid at the office of a property dealer near Dwarka More in south-west Delhi on Tuesday morning. Though no one was injured, five men were caught from the spot with a huge cache of arms.
Police say that the raid was conducted by a team from Mohali on the basis of an input about a dreaded criminal from Punjab hiding in the area. When the police team reached the shop and started inquiries, the men inside opened fire. In retaliation, cops fired back.
The criminals were overpowered by the team after this and taken into custody. Cops are yet to reveal their identity.
