The prime minister launched an attack on the Congress party over the issue of OBC communities saying that the party is seeking to get votes of the community but it should answer why it failed to get a constitutional status for the OBC Commission when it was in power. He added that it was the BJP government which brought in the move but the bill was stalled in the Rajya Sabha where the Congress is in majority. He said that the BJP is committed to give the OBCs their due.

The Prime Minister cornered the Congress party over the issue of One Rank, One Pension (OROP) for the Army. He accused the Congress party of misleading the country by announcing a meagre Rs 500 crore before the general elections in 2014 for OROP when the actual demand was much higher. He said the Congress should answer why the issue wasn’t resolved for forty years.
