A day after a Pakistan husband kills his wife for serving cold food, a man scalded his wife by throwing hot oil onto her face for a reason as flimsy as this: the food she cooked was too oily.
The suspect belonged to Nelogi village of Jewargi taluk, named as
Bhimashankara Narasakki poured simmering oil on his wife’s face, and kerosene on her body and set her on fire.
A 22-year-old wife Priyanka is battling for life now at the ICU in Basaweshwara Hospital with 50% burn injuries. Bhimashankara has been arrested.
Priyanka has been married to Bhimashankara for three years. The couple has an 18-month-old child. A case has been registered at the Nelogi police station.
