The Indian Navy has launched search and rescue operations and set up a Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief operation in southern Kerala.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has spoken to Director General NDRF and reviewed the situation in the areas affected by cyclone Ockhi. So far, at least eight people, Two died after touching live wires in Thiruvananthapuram’s Kattakada have lost their lives after the heavy rain hit.
