The Municipality has opened 15 public toilets by December 1, and will continue to open 39 others in the first quarter of 2018, bringing the total number of units to 54 units in 2018.

The geographical distribution of the sanitary units covers the installation of 30 units in public parks, 12 units in main and subsidiary roads apiece within the geographic environs of Abu Dhabi. The parks, in which the units were installed, to name but a few, include Sheikha Fatima Park, Capital Park, the Airport Park and other parks.
The targeted sanitary units (toilets) would be the first step to expand units map to cover most of the the recreational facilities, streets and business districts.
