In a shocking episode in India, a head constable was stoned to death by highway robbers near Dodakund village in Alirajpur on Wednesday evening.
The head constable, Arvind Sen who was recently transferred to Bori, was on his way to meet his family in Jobat, about 30km away. As per the initial reports around 7 pm, he seems to have been accosted by a gang of seven to eight looters. They pelted stones at him causing him to fall off his bike.
Some people found Arvind lying on the ground unconsciously in a pool of blood. He was rushed to hospital but unfortunately can’t save his life. Some passersby informed police that they too were attacked on the same spot by looters who hurled stones. When a patrol went to investigate, they found Sen.
