The sensational double murder case of a woman and her daughter in Greater Noida has been solved, the police stated on Saturday in a press conference. The accused teenager, who was missing since Monday, the night of the murder, has confessed that he killed his mother and his sister.
Times Now has accessed CCTV visuals from his building, where he can be seen minutes before and after committing the shocking crime.
A culmination of reasons is said to have led him to commit the murder, according to the police. The police state that prima facie, he had a grudge that the sister was loved more than him. Other factors that could have led him to take such a step was that he was weak in studies and parents used to pull him up for the same.
‘He was angry because he was scolded’
On 4th December, when he came back from school, he was sitting on the sofa and reading a book. His mother told him to sit in the dining chair and study. An argument took place and she slapped him. He got angry. During the probe, he told the police that even in the school, his classmates used to taunt him.
The mother asked him to do sit-ups as punishment and when he refused he was again beaten up, said the police.
Since the teenager was sulking, the lady decided to get some dinner from outside.
The teenager was last seen with his family on the night of December 4, after his mother had returned. Shocking details have emerged out of the teenager’s interrogation. Initially, he thought of committing suicide and then decided to kill his mother and sister, the police revealed.
He first killed his mother, with a bat and then inflicted injuries using a scissor and then used a pizza cutter to stab her. Fearing that his sister might wake up, he killed her too, using same modus operandi. After committing the crime, he took a taxi to the railway station. CCTV footage accessed by Times Now shows the accused teenager in the lift in his building, booking a cab.
From the railway station, the accused took a train to Ludhiana and then to Shimla; from Shimla, he went to Chandigarh and took a train from there to Ranchi. From Ranchi, he boarded a train to Mughalsarai.
After being on run for four days, he panicked and called his father on Friday.
