All the newly made 2017 model Swift DZire has silently recalled by the Maruti Suzuki. The decision is amid a possibly faulty rear wheel hub. The company has issued a recall of 21,494 units of the 2017 Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
The recalled models are manufactured between 23rd February 2017 to 10th July 10, 2017. The affected cars are being fixed as part of the ‘Service Campaign’
Maruti Suzuki has issued the recall notification on its official website, while the affected vehicles are being serviced/fixed 3rd October 2017. Maruti Suzuki has asked owners of the affected vehicles to get their cars checked at the nearest service centers and get the faulty part fixed/replaced free of cost.
Customers can log-on to Maruti Suzuki’s official website and check whether their car is affected by entering their Vehicle Identification Number on the website.
The Maruti Suzuki DZire 2017 was launched in India in May 2017, while the company has sold over 1 lakh units of the car in India by October itself.
