Nearly about 60 Democratic Congresswomen sought a detailed probe investigation into the sexual misconduct allegation against US President Donald Trump.
54 women lawmakers who signed it noted that in the time of “Me Too”, women across the U.S. were coming forward with their own harrowing stories of sexual harassment and assault.
The letter is sent to Chairman and Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reforms.
“Members of Congress have also come under scrutiny and investigation, with some resigning, for improper sexual conduct,” the letter said.
Two women alleged that Trump had boasted about kissing women without permission and grabbing their genitals on October 12.
